My first round card

Today I have a card with a difference to show you. The card is round and features Conie Fong’s Candy Cane Penguin as the focal image. Isn’t he adorable?
I printed the image out onto Strathmore Colored Pencil paper and colored it with my Prismacolor colored pencils. What fun this cutey was to color!!

I then cut him out with a stitched circle die. I cut a circle slightly larger from silver glitter washi tape from DCWV and with my largest circle die, I cut a dark green circle and two white heavy cardstock circles – which would make the card base. I adhered the layers on top of each other and added the sentiment with Versafine Onyx Black ink.

I scored a “hinge” at the top of the second white circle so that the card would open easily.

I love how this card looks like an ornament.
