Decorations Up

My third and last project that I am showing your today is my DT inspiration for the Cute N Crafty Christmas Challenge blog. Today is the start of the next challenge and the sponsor is Polkadoodles. The theme is Anything Goes Christmas or Winter. I got to work with this sweet image called Winnie Angel – Decorations up.

I printed the image out onto Strathmore Toned Tan paper and colored her with my Prismacolor colored pencils. I decided that I was going to stay away from traditional colors on this card and so opted for shades of teal and pink. Once she was colored, I cut her out with an oval die from the Hero Arts Oval Infinity die set. I cut a piece of white cardstock to 1.75×5 inches and stamped it with my Kaiserkraft Gingham background stamp and Memento Rose Bud ink. I adhered the panel to the left side of a dark teal cardbase and added a tiny strip of lighter teal cardstock to the right side of the gingham panel. I then added the focal image to the card.

The sentiment is stamped with a wood mounted stamp from my stash and Versamark ink and I white heat embossed it.

We would love to have you join us with your Christmas creations over at the Cute N Crafty Christmas challenge blog. You have 2 weeks to enter.
