Little Pink Wagon

Today is the start of a new challenge over at the World Wide Open Design Team challenge blog. The theme is Anything Goes as long as you are a member of a design team – any team, anywhere in the world. Julia Spiri is the resident sponsor of our challenges and her images are so sweet. I love working with any of them. Here is my card using Mollie!

I printed Mollie out on Daler-Rowney drawing paper and colored her with my Prismacolor colored pencils. Once completed, I cut her out with a stitched label die from my stash.

I completed the card by cutting a piece of blue cardstock the same size as a cardpanel and then laying the focal image onto it to place the border die. I wanted a bit of the white cardbase to peek out on the left hand side. I cut the edge and then ran the cut panel through my embossing machine with a Darice embossing folder.

I completed the card with a die cut of the word Sweet using a Spellbinders die and stamped the word Friend with Versafine Onyx Black ink and a Spellbinders stampset. I adhered the pieces together and added 3 gems from my stash for a bit of shine.
Don’t forget, if you are a design team member, to enter your projects over at the World Wide Open Design Team challenge blog. We look forward to seeing your makes.

  1. What a sweet image. Love how it is layered on the blue. So pretty. I'm on The Outlaws now. I was entering four or five times a month and I noticed on the Friday challenge there were very few replies. I looked at their DT list and they were quite short. I contacted them and they said I could do Monday or Friday. I actually prefer the Anything Goes option so I chose Friday.

  2. This is a delightful card. The image is lovely and the design is perfect.
Thanks for playing along at 613 Avenue Create.
    Hugs Sheryl xx
