Happy Home

This is my second post for today as we celebrate the first anniversary with Rabisco Challenge blog. The second sponsor that I am honoring today is Little Blue Button Stamps. I chose this cute digi called Mushroom.

I printed the image out onto Daler-Rowney Drawing paper and colored it with my Prismacolor colored pencils. As digital generated as my Tulip Girl layout was, so this is the complete opposite. Once it was colored, I cut the image out with a circle die and cut a larger circle with a die from the same Hero Art set. I ran the front of the card through my embossing machine with a Spellbinders embossing folder I glued the image to the bigger circle and added it to the front of the card. I also added a strip of the same dark green cardstock down the left-hand side of the card. I completed the card with a sentiment combo of a die cut and a stamped banner embossed with white embossing powder.

I love mushroom houses. They are such fun to color and are always whimsical. Also are good for any occasion.

  2. I love a whimsical card, too. This is very cute. The embossing is grand. When I was kid I would dream of living in some of the whimsical houses in books I read. Good memories. [Bunny]
