Missing You

Well thanks to the ability to schedule a post, I can share this card with you despite that fact that I am on the other end of the world. I am visiting in South Africa for a few weeks. But here is my DT card for the second sponsor of the monthly Rabisco Challenge blog. Our sponsor is Bugaboo Stamps and I got to work with this cutie called Kidz Daisy.

I designed my card in Silhouette Studio, creating a rectangle sized at 4×5.25 inches and filled it with a digital paper from the Flower Power Pack by Geckgo Galz. I then positioned the digi on my cardpanel, sizing it accordingly. I added a small oval under her feet to ground her and then printed the design onto Canson C’ a Grain Drawing paper. I colored her with my Prismacolor colored pencils and then returned the page to the Silhouette to cut her out.

I added the ribbon to the cardpanel and then added the cardpanel to a yellow cardbase. I cut the sentiment out of black cardstock using alphabet dies from my stash. I cut the Y O U out of yellow craft foam too and added that under those letters to accentuate the word YOU.

Our challenge at Rabisco Challenge blog is always Anything Goes with some haberdashery item on your project. You have the rest of February to enter and so we would be really pleased to have you.

  1. Wow, South Africa! So exciting. I have some English ancestors from there. I hope you're having a delightful and safe trip. This card is so cute. Your image is adorable and your pencil coloring is always so beautiful. I love the pretty pop of purple on her shoes. xx
