Progressive Friends

The first of the month is always time for a new image at the Progressive Challenge at the Outlawz and this month our image Pony Plait by Hetty Clare.

I printed the image out onto Strathmore Toned Tan paper. I have been so enamoured with my Canson C’ a Grain paper, that I have not used the tan paper in a long while. I colored the image with my Prismacolor colored pencils and once completed, I cut it out with a ragged rectangle die from my stash.

I chose a premade floral cardbase for this project and cut the ragged rectangle out of light pink cardstock too. I ran a black marker along the top and left hand edge of the tan cutout and offset the two rectangles before applying them to my card. I completed the card by stamping the sentiment, using a Kaisercraft stampset that I had won, in Versafine Onyx Black ink.

We would love to have you join us at the Progressive Challenge at the Outlawz. You will get the new image in your email even month if you completed a project with the previous month’s image. If you have never played along, let this be your first month and come and request the image.
