Christmas Cheer

My blog has been a little quiet lately. Unfortunately I have not been able to sit on my crafting chair much. But I am on the mend and so I can share this CAS card with you. This is my project for the Outlawz Progressive challenge for July. Our sponsor is Twinkle Lane Designs and the image is Gingerbread Treat – which comes with the image and two sentiments. I used one of them here.
I printed the image and sentiment out onto Strathmore Toned Tan paper and colored the digi with my Prismacolor colored pencils. I added Milky Pop pen to the snowflake and dots on the mug and used a silver and gold gel pens on the bell as well as a blue gel pen on the ribbon on the bell. A Christmas card needs at least a little bit of sparkle.

I completed the card by cutting the panel just a little bit smaller than the A2 card size and adhere it to a dark blue notecard, with the notecard peeking out only on the bottom and right hand sides.

We would love to have you come and play at the Outlawz Progressive Challenge. You can request the freebie and as long as you keep playing along, you will get the new one automatically every month.

  1. I'm so glad you're back again! I love this card and how you colored the image. Hope your back keeps improving. I see my orthopedic doctor today for a shot in my knee. Boy, falling apart as I age!
