Little Fairy

Happy Friday friends. Now I can show you this card as the recipient that I made it for has received it. My friend recently celebrated a birthday and she has not been well, so I opted for a bright cheery scene with an element of cuteness.
The digi is from a new-to-me artist and is called Little Fairy. I printed her out onto Canson C’ a Grain Drawing paper and colored the scene with my Prismacolor colored pencils. Once colored, I used soft pastels and Q-tips to create the background and then fixed it with a matte fixative. Using a silver sparkle gel pen, I colored her wing.

I cut the panel down to 4×5.5 inches and adding it to a white cardbase. I added two strips of silver glitter washi paper to the sides and completed it with a die cut sentiment cut from silver foil cardstock.
I have some more of Rachel’s digis and am inspired to color them after working with this one.

  1. I love this cute picture. This little fairy looks wonderful against the backdrop of a beautiful meadow. I love the perspective in which she is shown where the meadow for her is a real forest 🙂 The coloring is stunning as always
