Faux Wax Seals

If you are in the crafting world here in the US, you may already know that Spellbinders released a new series of items to coordinate with a wax seal. The release is called “Sealed by Spellbinders”. I love the long stemmed die cuts, but with my small crafting space, I was not wanted to add another element to it, so here is a great alternative for those who don’t want to do the whole wax melting thing.

Faux wax seals! Yes, there is this clever stamp and die set that will make paper “wax seals”. Both the stamps and the dies are layering and also interchangeable with each other. There are a number of sentiments that one can stamp in the middle of the seal, but any small stamp that fits into that space will work.

Spellbinders sent me a few of the die sets to use. The long stems look elegant and I have placed them against various embossed backgrounds.

For this card with the blue seal, I added a sentiment as a strip under the seal. This would also work without the seal, just adding a strip across the long stems.

This is just a small sampling of the options available and I would recommend that you take a long on the Spellbinders site.
