Valentine’s Day Bunny

I am back again today with another project. This time a Valentine’s Day card for a friend. I am participating in an Instagram hop and this is also my contribution.

The bunny is from a digital stamp set by Isabel Cristina. I sized it in Silhouette Studio and then printed it out onto Canson C’ a Grain paper and colored it with my Prismacolor colored pencils. Once colored, I cut it out on my Cameo as well as two of the shapes out of black cardstock. I ran a black marker along the edge of the cut out image before gluing it to the two shapes.

I created the background by drawing evenly spaced lines on a cardpanel with a Glaze pen. Once it was dry, I foiled it with toner foil in my laminator. It worked really well, I was so pleased with the result. I used the Layered Bows Stencil which was in my Waffle Flower Sneak Peek kit and distress oxide inks to create a pattern over the foiling.

I added the cardpanel to a light pink card matte and then added it to a white cardbase. I added the bunny to the bottom right hand corner and completed the card with words from two different die sets to make up the sentiment.
If you are on Instagram, check out the Valentine’s day hop.
