Christmas BINGO

I am back today with a second project, this time one that is completely opposite to my previous one. This one is created with paper and die cuts and does not have anything digital on it. I accepted a position on the Design Team at the new Christmas BINGO Challenge blog. The challenges run for 6 weeks and you can enter any handmade Christmas themed project that uses the featured BINGO card.

I used the “I” column in the current card featuring the elements of Monochrome, Gemstone, Gold and Vellum. I used green as my monochrome color and created the background with the new Spellbinders Infinity Punch & Pierce Plate. This is such a beautiful background plate, creating patterns with complete punch outs and together with piercings. I added a third shade of green  on the detail of the Christmas Tree, which I backed with vellum. The star on the top of the tree as well as the sentiment were cut out of gold, glitter cardstock. I met the gemstone requirement by adding little golden gems to the tree as the ornaments.

As stated, the challenge is all about Christmas. We would love to see your Christmas themed, handmade projects in our challenge over at the Christmas BINGO Challenge blog. You have until June 15 to enter.

Here is the current BINGO card. You may use any column. The challenge goes vertically only – no horizontal or diagonal lines.

  1. Hi, Monica! I did not realize you joined this DT, too! So glad we can be teamies here. I love the way you have utilized the new SB oval die set – really brings out the specialness of a Christmas tree, doesn't it? That layered tree is beautiful! I have not seen it before – all decked out in gemstone glory and sparkling star! Fantastic creation!

  2. Hi Monica! I just wanted to pop over and say Hi! I'm a fellow stamper on the Christmas BINGO Challenge Blog and it's nice to "meet" you. Your card is lovely. I especially love green, and I love how much texture it has. Someone will be so happy to get this card at Christmastime!
